Patient First is building the future of electronic medical records.

After witnessing a family member’s experience with lost medical records in Pakistan, founders Fiza and Farooq Shaukat found out that most medical data in the developing world are recorded manually. This data is not tracked, not updated, and unable to be shared with other physicians in the local healthcare system.

In response, they’ve started Patient First out of Boston University and the Harvard School of Public Health to build a health data management platform that allows patients to access their medical records at the tap of a button.
