Dave founded: Synernetics (world’s-first enterprise Ethernet switches, acquired by 3Com); C-Port (world’s-first fully-programmable network processor chips and coding tools, acquired by Motorola/Freescale Semiconductor); Reva Systems (facility-scale precision RF location infrastructure); and Plexxi (software-defined datacenter and cloud network infrastructure, acquired by HPE). He was then an EIR at MIT, shepherding the commercialization of AI research via the MIT Pillar AI Collective fellowship program.
Dave is a Founding Pillar, among the first to back the Pillar mission in 2016, and has invested in every fund since. As a Venture Partner, he is actively engaged in developing and supporting our deepest-tech projects.
